Unlock Secret Map Codes – To see a map section of the world you’re in, simply write down the secret code for that world. Then once you’re back in that world playing, press 3 to see your map, then press "" (slash) key and enter your secret code - and you’ll see a helpful map section of the world. Amazon Survival Tips

1. Oh man, are you up a big river with a small paddle. The good news is that your rubber survival raft is chambered so if one section gets damaged, you can still stay afloat and keep going. The bad news however is that certain species with big teeth and angry little brains want to have you for lunch and if they bite all the chambers on your raft – well, you’ll be lunch alright. So try to protect your raft while also shooting and eating the fish you need to stay healthy.
2. The river is divided into sections or “levels” and if you’re fast-shooting amigo who can make it safely to the next set of rapids, then you only have to go back to the last section you completed, in case uh, something awful happens that would end your survival in that level.
3. Did you know that pound for pound, hungry piranhas can savagely eat more human flesh than bigger species. Yeah we know that’ s not a pretty picture but the little buggers are scaredy cats too. If they won’t break your line and steal your arrows, maybe it’s a good idea to keep shooting and reeling as fast as you can until they stop pestering you. One doesn’t offer much food value but a whole school can cause serious damage to your raft.
4. Fish are like whitetail deer in that they both have home ranges that they are reluctant to leave. If you can make it safely around or past the home range of a school of raft-hungry fish, they won’t come after you any longer. But don’t let your guard down, guess who lives around the next bend?
5. You haven’t seen a cabin or water-skier yet. Wonder why no one else is enjoying this stretch of the Amazon? Duuah, how about the fishies here and the alligators too. But beware of other dangers that can lurk here and remember, if it feels like a creepy place where something is waiting to lunge out and get you – oh my gosh, you’re probably right. Be ready to shoot fast in tight spots.

Tournament Play Tips

1. Like Hunter Dan master bass angler, you need to travel quickly to likely fishing spots then go into stealth mode to close the final distance. These places are so huge that a detailed map is important. Visit all the websites to get your revealing map cheat codes so you know where you are and where you could explore.
2. If you’re in a tournament where the time clock is counting down, is it smarter to shoot only the biggest fish in a school or to take the easiest shot? Do two 20-pound carp weigh more than one 33-pound carp? And if you left your calculator at school, which fish might break your line and take one of your precious arrows - A bigger mean fish or a smaller reclusive fish?
3. If the clock is ticking on a scavenger hunt tournament, how much time should you spend shooting at a smaller and harder to hit species? We think not very much until you’ve bagged most of the bigger ones.
4. If you’re playing a tournament mode on the Tropical Island, press the “W” key to walk, plus the “Shift” key to run along the beach to cover the most area in the least time.
5. Did you know that you can actually shoot from the rear of the boat when you’re driving? No, it’s not smart or safe in the real world. And because of the lower shooting angle the fish are harder to hit, but if a big one is going past at close range, what the heck, give it a shot. The only thing you have to lose is your arrow…uh, oh.
6. We know you’re good, but sooner or later… a big fighting fish will either pull out the arrow or break your line and steal your arrow. Rats, we hate that when it happens. However, if you stay on its trail, you can recover your lost prize and your lost arrow. Hunter Dan encourages you to do the right thing by making a solid effort to recover your fish and your missing arrow.
7. When Hunter Dan bowfishes in a tournament, he’s careful about taking only responsible shots. Don’t mistake an obvious game fish for a legal shooting fish and get yourself in trouble. It’s not worth it. If in question, see the “View Protected Species” in the game menu.
